User Configurable Options

Select Options from the Tools Menu as shown below.

The following options can be configured:

General options

• Tool tips - The yellow box shown below is an example of a tool tip.  You may turn them On or Off.

• Frequency Unit of Measurement - RPM or Hz.

• Save File on Exit prompt – On or Off.

• Crosshair lines – Show or Hide.

Default Ratios

• Transmission Gear Ratio.

• Front Axle Gear Ratio.

• Rear Axle Gear Ratio.

• Transfer Case Gear Ratio.

• CVT Transaxle High Gear Ratio.

• Hybrid-Electric vehicle High Gear Ratio.

• HUMMER H1 Geared Hub Gear Ratio.

Default Values

• Trailer Tire Loaded Radius.

• Tow Vehicle Tire Loaded Radius.

• Number of Engine Cylinders.

• Maximum U-joint Working Angle.

• U-Joint Working Angle Offset.  This value is used to set the optimum working angles to compensate for axle windup.

Startup Options

• Display Road Test Instructions on startup - On or Off.

• Allow Access to the Vibrate Software Internet Site through the Help menu.

• Default Engine RPM Range.

• Default Vibration Type Viewed.

• Show Smart Images or not when moving the mouse around on the screen.  Must have a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher to use this option.
