The Axle Gear Ratio can be located on the identification tag on the carrier assembly or on the axle tube.

First Digit D = Forward Tandem Axle with Interaxle Differential
First Digit R = Rear Tandem Axle
Second Digit S = Single Reduction
Second Digit T = Dual Range
Second Digit P = Planetary Double Reduction
Second Digit C = Single Reduction with Controlled Traction Differential
Second Digit D = Single Reduction with Wheel Differential Lock
Second Digit A = Single Reduction with in Axle Speed Sensing
Third & Fourth Digits = GAWR x 1000 lbs.
Fifth Digit = Design Level
Sixth Digit (P) = Optional Lube Pump
Sixth Digit P = Standard Lube Pump
